    @Overlord:

According to my xbox, neither do any of the xbox games...

  2. Anyone else appreciate this amazing nerdfest?

I'd post a clip or two for anyone who hasn't seen it, but I'm tired right now and just felt like getting this topic underway...

  3. anything on the list that was posted other than DK and Star Fox I think, or anything else on there that appears in something like smash bros.

  4. Star Fox is a Nintendo IP, owned by Nintendo, Rare just made one game for them. Same goes for Donkey kong, just a few more games.

  5. I've got a 360 and a wii, was playing my wii last night...

It's all down to personnal opinion, but the wii really gives me some variation. Brawl, Metroid Prime, Trauma Centre, SSX (the way the wii does it), Mario Kart. On the xbox, most of it is either some form of racing or fps, which is good to a point, but I need something else every now and then. I think I enforce that point by all the games you mentioned being shooters.

  6. I can't see how this is any less relevant then yet another "What's your favorite" thread. It definitely says something. It implies a further connection between Hyrule and Termina beyond the adapted character models. What if there's something about their music that connects them? The Ocarina of Time is, after all, a magical item. What if somehow it's a key to the truth about the two worlds.

Of course this is all idle speculation, but it proves that this thread is worthwhile even if it's been somewhat dismissed. Sure, it has no chance of being "solved" or "proven", but quite a bit of what is fun to discuss about Zelda will never be stated officially to be true or false. It's all a part of legend with it's very nature to be mysterious and exaggerated.

Ganny's point was about POORU posting, just saing "oh"

Also, I was going to point out what Ganny did in his second paragraph dammit.

  7. at Leipzig (this was during an end war presentation)

questioner: "will people with the xbox 360 versions and ps3 versions be able to play against each other"

dev: "Microsoft and Sony are NOT friends,..."

  8. Also, the general belief is that Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are on two different parts of the split timeline, so references used in OoT and WW, but not TP are pretty much irrelevant.

  9. Why does everyone hate Microsoft? The only bad thing I see about them is Vista. RROD? Compare that to:

    STILL Gamecube graphics

    Shovelware

    NO hard drive

NO getting for fans what they want

    CASUAL company

    And

    BARELY ANY DWC.

1 prob VS 7. You do the math.

    Also:

    Bioshock VS SMS

    HALO series VS Wii Fit

GOW (which beat TP in some votes) VS SSBB.

    COD3 VS No Goldeneye

    FO3 VS NO SB64.

    FU 360 VS FU Wii

Only good thing I can see is the Homebrew Channel.

They've improved over gamecube graphics, it's just 3rd parties which fail, you don't need to buy the shovelware either, eesh.

Also, how is halo the right thing to compare to wii fit? :S

and the "no getting the fans what they want" they're just one company, do you realise how long it takes to make games?

and a final point, why use COD3 as an example? It's completely rubbish compared to COD4...

P.S. I have no problems with vista

  10. Buy a Mac? eeesh...

    Also

Microsoft bought out a great game company and turned it into a crappy one

You havn't played viva pinata, have you?

  11. In the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy series, a whole race dies from an infection from a dirty telephone, becasue they sent all the telephone cleaners to another planet.

  12. Actually, rare made those XD

and they had plans for them before Nintendo released mii's. I think a quote a rare employee used was:

"it's not like microsoft came to us and said "Nintendo have miis! Do something!"

Also, Star Fox was the last game rare released on a nintendo home console, the last two were released on the xbox.

  13. Never been asked out before. A bit depressing but... Oh well. This thread just made me notice how empty my life is... Oh well. No worries... yet.

The convention is NORMALLY (note not always) that guys out girls out. So in Adam Savage style: "There's your problem!"

  14. AWESOME!! :joy:

    I turned 16 in April 2008, so I am almost 16 1/2 now.

But, welcome to the later years of being a teenager :D

I wish you the best of luck with your 16th year of life.

Enjoy it, because bills, ect. will be making you sad. SO...live it up!! Have fun!!

actually, it'll be his 17th year, he just had his 16th, hence why he's 16.

    Think about it...

  15. hey, the guy who says "this is sparta" was on merlin.

At least I think it was him...

  16. Like I said. It's a matter of opinion. I think it looks brilliant personally. ^-^

    And Chameleon, Little big world?

I already have a PS3, I'm waiting for Fallout just now. Can't wait! :joy:

I said I thought it looked (well, actualls plays) brilliant, I just thought it wasn't right to have the depth in there as well

Also, a point I wanted to make to Luneth: have you tried getting all 120 (242 if you're going to get picky) stars? there are some really savage ones in there that are much harder than anything on super mario 64.

  17. I'm not sure if this counts as a 2-D game but it looks like a modern version of one
