  1. Nickelodeon alert.

    No thanks.

    That's a little pre-judgmental, don't you think?

Here in Canada, when quality Canadian programming is broadcast in another country it's a pretty big deal (Partly because quality Canadian programming is sometimes hard to come by) We tend to not care what station it's broadcast on.

For example, Being Erica is one of if not the best Canadian TV Show in existence (maybe even the best TV show ever) and is broadcast on SoapNet in the states, even though it does not deserve the title of Soap Opera. However it's success South of the border was probably a strong contributing factor to it's renewal for a 3rd season despite it's slightly pathetic ratings in it's home country.

As for Degrassi, I watched the first episode of what I think was the 9th season and I'm not sure that it's for me. I guess I also shouldn't judge it based on one episode, though.

  2. I'm not sure I want to commit to a specific prediction because I don't like being wrong. Especially if I'm wrong about my own death.

If I had to predict the most probable scenario I would say that there would be no obvious natural disaster, but the date would get so much attention it would cause mass hysteria. There will likely be allot of suicides throughout the year as well as mass crime and who knows what else the day of. It might as well be an appocolypse.

However like I said, I don't like being a sorry victim of Murphy's law AND kicking the bucket at the same time. So on December 21st 2012 I will be saying goodbye to my loved ones and possibly hiding in my basement...just in case...I would rather be wrong and be alive than be wrong and be dead.

  3. I didn't. You're an idiot for believing all this government propaganda.

No, YOU'RE the idiot for believing all of the government propaganda.

Think about it, how many jobs are created when someone goes to rehab?

    Depressing, isn't it.

  4. Doing drugs is cowardly. It means that you are giving up, that you can't be bothered accepting your life for what it is so you trick yourself to believe that it's something its not. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. You don't run away and pretend they're oranges. Plus, marijuana is highly addictive (yes, it is) and studies have shown that it can cause the serious psychotic disorder known as schizophrenia and your chances increase by four times if you do it before you turn 16. There is no reason to start and even less of a reason for it to be legalized. PLEASE, DON"T DO DRUGS!!!

    I hope you enjoyed my mini-rant ^_^

  5. I just saw this movie a few hours ago

    IT IS AMAZING

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I highly recommend it ESPECIALLY in 3D.

  6. I disliked Phantom Hourglass.

I thought that the plot was really thin and refused to take itself seriously. Meaning that often when there was a major plot development between characters that weren't link, you would see him in the background making a funny face and then falling.

The characters were really simple and any character development was very bluntly stated.

Not to mention the Temple of the Ocean King. Frustrating, repetitive backtracking that, by the end of the game, made me give up completely until Spirit Tracks was announced causing me to decide to complete it.

Contrastingly, however, I thought the gameplay was amazing. It used the touch screen to it's fullest extent in a way that was very intuitive and done very well. There were also moments in which the game encouraged you to think outside the box by yelling or blowing into the microphone or closing your DS and then reopening it. If they had put that much energy into the script (assuming they weren't making that up as they went along) and improved the temple of the ocean king mechanic it would have been an amazing game.

Let's see if they can improve it in Spirit Tracks.

  7. The Rick Mercer Report, although I doubt any of you have heard of him. Nor would you have heard of This Hour has 22 Minutes.

This is mostly because they are both Canadian.....yet VERY funny.

  8. Violence is not the answer......it is the question.....the answer is yes. :chainsaw:

Seriously though, there are much better ways of solving your problems than hitting people.

Violence only causes more violence which causes more violence. As mentioned previously multiple times, the best way to approach these types of situations is to be calm and polite. You are not provoking anyone in any way and therefore they have no reason to hurt you.

Plus, Bullies normally look for reactions of things like fear or retaliation. If you don't give them what they want, eventually they will leave you alone....or at least that is the theory.

  9. Mine have a tenancy to change allot. Right now I am rather enjoying the somewhat new cereal "Just Bunches"

But Personally I prefer a...dryer breakfast. I find a Toasted Bagel with Cream Cheese does well for the most important meal of the day.

  10. Before you practically BUY the shop in castle town then give it to Malo Mart it is seemingly impossible to get into. If you try to open the door the guy standing next to it tells you that your shoes are filthy and you can't get in without more polished footwear. It took me a while to figure this out (after many failed attempts at wearing the iron boots) but there is a guy sitting next to the store that will polish your shoes for ten rupees (I think that's it i'm not sure) and then you can go inside. Inside the shop is music that I don't believe is in any other part of the game, EXTREMELY overpriced items that you couldn't afford even if you tried and the Magic Armour. Once again far too expensive for anyone on this planet. But it's interesting and rather funny. I suggest trying it.

  11. Where do you find these summaries?

EDIT: Never mind I figured it out. It only works for recent games though.

Rating summary: This is a rhythm game in which players can engage in a series of mini-games that test musical ability, rhythm and dexterity. Players earn points for how well they are able to match the on-screen actions with the beat of background music. Some mini-games involve slapping a man's arm, flicking animals out of a garden, and zapping spaceships.

  12. Hey, I`ve seen that add :joy: (although it wasn`t on a bus it was on a subway but same thing)

Frankly I think that there is nothing wrong with these ads because they present an alternate opinion to the common perception of a higher being. There is nothing wrong with that. Although at the same time the bus driver has a right to believe what they want and if they find that offensive than they shouldn`t be sued for refusing to display it.

But at the same time all it is is an ad. Would you take it seriously if there was an ad on the bus saying: (not to offend anyone)

Pepsi is obviously better than Coke

So go buy a can of Pepsi and move on with your life

    `

    I know I certainly wouldn`t.

  13. I rather like these books. My personal favorite is the third and I am Impatiently awaiting the fourth.

And the Movie was absolutely awful It should flauga up to the fell and deyja from kveykva then be maela.

And yes, by going through the back of the third book and making up that sentence, it hereby shows that I have no life.

EDIT: Oops, I just posted twice...sorry...is that bad?
