When I had the AP US History exam, our last essay question was like "Explain the leading causes of the American victory in the Revolutionary War" or something. We had like six minutes left, so I looked at the paper and immediately wrote an essay about how much of a god George Washington was. I don't remember too much of the specifics of the essay, but it was impressive, so just laugh as though I'd told you something hilarious
