After drawing this (and some other pokemon) I had an idea for a fan game

So there is this thing for RPG Maker XP called "pokemon essentials/starter kit." It has all the stuff in it to make a pokemon fan game. My idea is to remake Red/Blue for the computer. What would make this different from a ROM would be that everything would be hand drawn (well, drawn on the computer. Just not sprites.) The battle scenes, the characters, the over world environment, etc! Also, everything would be "derpy" like the image above, and the dialogue would be altered to be more humorous. I actually really wanna do this so I'm gonna buy RPG Maker XP tomorrow and play around with the pokemon kit.

If anybody else is interested in my idea uh.... hit me up? I might make a thread for this eventually.

Yeah i was gonna ask my friend, who makes music and is a dj and does nothing but music forever to see if he'd like to remix the sound track. Something housey but not too annoying. I played a fan pokemon game once and every time a random battle started I felt like I walked into a rave. It was lame. But he's a great musician so if he wants to do it i'll know it'll be good.

Now I /might/ be able to actually do something for music. It wouldn't probably be 8-bit unless I can get some other program to do so.

Currently I'm using a limited version of NoteWorthy Composer 2.
