I didn't find anything on suicides, but the majority of the sources I found agreed that there was a mass hysteria. I bet some people did commit suicide. A lot of them ran out of their houses screaming, and some even packed up and left.

For me the plan is to watch my favorite youtube videos, listen to my favorite music, tell my family and friends how much they mean to me, pray like crazy and take some sleeping pills before 11 ish at night (When It's supposed to happen.)

At best I'll have a good excuse to spoil myself, act like a saint, treat the ones I care about well and get a good night's sleep before Christmas. At worst, I'll have no regrets at the pearly gates.

I know this is like, late to the discussion and all, but 2012 was always the topic of coversation in our Biology class last year when the teacher was away. Obviously everyone thought it was stupid, except one girl who was dead-set that the end of the world was going to happen. And I always argued it was going to happen so it wasn't a one-sided debate... or something along those lines. And so she didn't feel lonely debating.

So that's why I voted Yes on the poll. I kinda want it to happen, just to see what it'll look like. I wonder if it would be sparkly and pretty? Well that would be nice, but I doubt the end of the world would be good-looking :3
