I'm going to be better this year

last year I did no revision and I didn't focus in any of my classes. I did no homework and eventually I failed four of my five classes. I hate that so so so much and I'm resitting all of those classes I failed last year (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

From the start of this year I wasn't focused much at all. I wasn't handing in homework, I wasn't concentrating in class, I wasn't revising.

The past two weeks I've completed my homework on time.

I've had two breaks today. The rest of the time I spent revising Biology.

My free periods at school I spend doing homework and going over notes now instead of talking to my friends.

It's almost 11pm.

I'm going to finish going over this section and then I'm going to bed.

I'm going to get up earlier and I'm not going to fail this year.

I'm going to try not to forget this thread, because right now I'm feeling great and I don't want to be like I was last year again.

You can consider this a rave.

Don't burn out kiddo. Take a break and enjoy yourself every once in a while. :>

ex. I have done chemistry for a total of 11 hours in the past day. and now I am sitting on my ass, letting my head deflate.

This college business is difficult, I thought I did at least a B on my statistics exam, but when I got it back I flunked, and apparently its all downhill from here according to the teacher.

I wish you all the best. At Univeristy I couldn't juggle everything, and I eventually got too stressed to do any actual work. It sounds like you're doing pretty well at keeping on top of things. That's good, but don't forget to set aside time for yourself. At least sicne you're caught up you won't have a guilty conscious keeping you from having fun.

I'm having similar issues.

It's time I leveled up past [Half-assed Delinquent] and become a [Hero]!

I didn't fail any classes except trigonometry, but I have an excuse. I was taking two different math classes during one entire semester. That is a big no no! I rarely did any homework, especially in art. I need to improve myself, for both myself and someone I need to try and impress.

My mental health needs some work too. :I

Well then don't take math classes. I'm annoyed enough as it is with statistics.

Trigonometry is a required course in my high school.

I'm retaking it now, and passing. With flying colours.

I was initially taking Algebra II but was removed and placed into Trig. Isn't all that hard when I have the time with it.

Though, it ALSO could've just been the teacher. He /did/ have an accent too.

I'm great at math.

High school was easy for me, so I never learned to work hard in school without someone (i.e. my mom) lighting a fire under me. I struggled a little with math, but still scraped through with a B+.

With math and physics, your teacher plays a huge part in how you do. If their teaching style is doing nothing for you, try getting into another class.
