Posted 10 Jun 2012 It is quite a good series, although certain parts of it are better than others. The parts of the series that are based on full novels ("The Melancholy" arc, "The Sigh" arc, and "The Disappearance" movie) are probably the best parts of the anime. The anime also only covers the first three books and parts of the fifth and sixth books; the movie covers the fourth book. Just skip episodes 3-7. Possibly episode 2. Really, episode 8 of the arc is the only one you need to watch to get the entire plot of it.
