Frankly I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I want a PS4. I'm 99.9 percent positive all of my friends are going to get an Xbox One.

60 bucks for live, no used games, 24 hour required Internet connectivity...blah. I may just get a PS4 and say puppy multiplayer.

I don't feel hype for either system. I don't necessarily know about them totally, though. Maybe I don't care to?

If anything, I'll get a PS4. And it won't be for a long time. I dislike XBox live a lot.

Yeah i'm gonna get a Wii U soon, and maybe a PS4 in a year and a half or something. My priorities for toys right now is:

new drawing tablet

Desktop PC

maybe PS4

Controller doesn't look as bad as Dualshock 4, at least

I think the worst part about it is obviously the lack of backwards compatibility. And the fact that even though you don't need an internet connection 24/7, you need to connect to the internet at least once a day, basically removing any functionality if you wanted to play somewhere without internet for an extended period of time.

 

I'm really unimpressed with both consoles, though.
