He also composed music for Mother 2 and 3, not sure about 1 though. And yes, I have a one track mind.

Maybe he's just more of an amalgamation of all of the characters, he could well be the only one who represents earthbound in the game now...He is pretty much what you said, an amalgamation.
The other PSI user (Kumatora) has had all of her moves usurped by Lucas; who also took Duster's Rope Snake.
Boring for those not interested in Mother 3:
The Masked Man, see my profile picture, would be the most likely option for a second character.
The main reasoning behind the Masked Man inclusion theory is that Lucas uses PK Starstorm in Brawl; both Lucas and Claus (MM) learned a move called PK Love. I think that because Lucas didn't have PK Love as his Final Smash, there must be another character using a similar move. MM is the only character who at any point uses PK Love other than Lucas, so logically he would be the one to use it, and thus, is a playable character.

I just feel the need to tell everyone that Lucas doesn't have a single attack he has in the game.
All of his moves are ripped off from the other party member who uses PSI, Kumatora.

I doubt it though.
I remember Sakurai saying that there wouldn't any clones in Brawl, and Lucas pretty much is Ness except for a couple of differences. I have a feeling that if Ness gets in, he'll just be a costume for Lucas.
I just hope we get another Mother character. I know I've said it a lot, but it just doesn't feel right that it's the only series with only one character. Hopefully, if there is a second, it'll be the Masked Man.

I handed in an essay 2 days late and lost 25% of my semester grade.
Now if I don't ace this exam I have next week, I'll have to repeat the subject.

There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar.

If you look, none of the Veteran Unlockable characters have been announced (yet).
We might see all the VUCs in, but with re-vamped movesets.

But if it is indeed a pig, it could be the pig-mask army from Mother 3. (Though that is very wishful thinking on my part)

Yeah, a similar thing happened to me.
I had this very long oral presentation for English (About 15 minutes); Anyway it was on a poem or song of our choice, but I only completed it a day before plus I had only one copy, which was on the school server. Problem was, I saved it under the name of the song and the administrators like to delete things.
The guy backed it up of course, but I couldn't get to him because we have two school campuses and he was at the other that day. Anyway, this was a deadline assignment (ie. had to be read and handed up before a certain time) and I couldn't do it. But SSABSA (Senior Secondary Assesment Board of South Australia) said that this wasn't a valid excuse, so I was essentially screwed. Now I have to work twice as hard so I can get my SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) points for this course subject.

Anyway, I find it strange that the Triforce is used in Phantom Hourglass.
Even though for the most part in the Temple of the Ocean King.
Surely it should be used very commonly or not at all; like other Zelda titles. Why would it still be relevant in a new land that seems to have no connection to Hyrule?

An avatar is actually of Indian origin (By which I mean Asian-Indian and not Native-American).
It is the physical manifestation of a god or goddess in human or animal form. For example, Buddha is classed as the avatar of Vishnu.
And by the way, Avatar: The last Airbender (or the Legend of Aang) is actually produced in the US. It just incorporates elements of an anime, which is why it is often just classed as one.
