    So after I got my boyfriend into steam/being happy with that for a while, I decided it was time to use his awesome pc for some good ol nostalgic gaming. Downloaded project 64, found some roms and we played SSB for a while.

    Then I learned he hadn't played Paper Mario. So we found a rom, I started a new file and played the first couple chapters of it with him watching. He was totally into it. I just left his apartment today and he was like "yeah I'm probably gonna just keep playing that file..."

    So I feel good about introducing that to him. We'll probably have to do TTYD after that. I ain't complaining.

    I know quite a bit about selling ham, I used to work for Honey Baked Ham. I've spent a lot of time looking at quality ham and also cutting it into portions.  As for consuming it, it's not my favorite form of pig meat but that's ok. If I'm eating it alone, I really have to be in the mood for it, you know? I like it with/in most things though, like sandwiches and omelette.

    I like this topic because I feel I am slightly more classic but like necro said, we need some definitions for the two. Could you give like a silly arbitrary year or console to define the end of classic games

    I feel that I am constantly in progress playing some Metroid game or another. I've got a Prime 2 file barely started and just lost the motivation to play it (it's kind of a lonely game). Beat Prime 1, played a bit of Corruption once, played Fusion

     

    I made a blog post about this too, about why Samus is my main chica.

     

    I'll come back to this thread as I am not in a state to be reading and comprehending

    for some banana reason I realize I've never even played the originals. I was watching a stream last night and I didn't recognize many of the pokes

     

    so I think I'm gonna get that gba emu for iOS and play ruby???

    Yeah we played it

    We also played this silly "dart" game where you would mimic blowing a dart at someone (when you made eye contact with them) and if they weren't "blocking" then you were frozen.

    Also this game called ninja that involved standing in a circle and making singular rapid movements to hit the hands of someone else in the circle (one person would go at a time). We had rules for like evading but idk how it even worked anymore

    surgery was a success! it was the weirdest 7 minutes of my life. my vision is still a little foggy here and there as it's healing and the time for the most discomfort is gone (right after surgery). sleeping helped a lot. I'm now putting in prescription eyes drops for like the next week and wearing sunglasses to prevent myself from rubbing them. also have to tape these eye shields over my eyes when i sleep so it looks ridiculous.

     

    i still wandered around my house this morning for glasses or contacts to put on. it's gonna be hard to break a 15 year old habit
