  1. Hey, I'm glad you posted this. and I'm even happier that you're doing okay. I know we don't know each other well other than some random chat interactions, but this was a nice scope of your life and like Teto said, I know more about you now.

    this really got me:

you can have a lavish exciting wealthy life and still feel like there's nothing for you. it doesn't matter the life you live, it's how you feel. but no matter what life you live, you're important and there are people out there who care for you.

while I'm not exactly living a lavish or exciting life and I do live with my parents, because I don't make a lot of money, I just think of how this is how I felt last weekend. I'm terribly lonely. my best friends moved far away and my only friends are from work, and even then they're older and are married or are married and have young kids. and we're always so busy with work, like any spare time I have is devoted to eating or sleeping. it's not like I don't have anyone to talk to, I interact with around 150 students and 10-20 faculty everyday, but I don't have friends to shoot the shit with or a someone to go to the gym with or anything. I really felt this last weekend, when it was my birthday, and I was overcome with this crippling sense of loneliness. and then I realized that a part of me might be depressed.

it's a bad place to be. and I want out, but there's not much I can do to change my situation until I make more money.

  2. I've been redditing frequently for about three years now (wtf) and honestly I just use it for news kind of stuff now and to find interesting articles. I also use it for like communities like r/cycling and r/teachers. It's a source of reading for me. I've come to view reddit with a pretty thick lens for bullshit though and I've learned to skim comments quickly to find quality stuff. I like that if there's a niche for something, there's a reddit for it, and usually some pretty quality things to find

  3. So I'm a sweets addict. I adore candies, cakes, pastries, all the good goodies. And because of my profound love for this thing, I wanted to make a thread about them.

Today I had some Jolly Ranchers (which I call "Jollies") which were delicious. That's a good start for conversation.

Jolly ranchers are the #1 candy that I give to kids. Plus they don't melt like chocolate does and no one has a jolly rancher allergy.

Also starbursts. Kids love starbursts. I teach high school and they go ape shit for candy, man.

I havent been been eating as many sweets lately but today is a rather cake filled day for me. So naturally I've been eating that

  4. 1. The game was heavily scripted in some parts, which sometimes made the game a bit constricting in play style, especially for Teto. It also meant lots of writing from me, writing being something that I'm not particularly good at.

this is bullshit. You are a REALLY talented writer. I was extremely impressed with all the scenes

  5. Linox seriously has the worst luck all game. Damn. That is really shitty but also hilarious.

he was so dangerous the whole time and there was one night where I said to Teto "we've GOT to kill Linox" But we decided on killing t1g instead

i made up a lot of shit, by the way. I was a redirector and I actually did end up unlocking my secondary ability, by correctly guessing that LL was Varys. That gave me a kill priority skill (that I used once), which had a cool down of one night, and then I killed LL right after because I knew he was a seer. I felt guilty because I knew how cold blooded it was lol

Then I made up the independent thing and pheo for some reason rushed to my defense about it.  Teto and I were loling

  6. teto this thread is the reason why you have at least 11k of those 23k posts

  7. Hmm. Okay. So I've been thinking a bit and I think I'm going to make my first vote all game (lol).

Linox and Teto seem most suspicious to me. Linox, being a townie, with a kill ability, is pretty weird as far as I know, and the NPC thing just seems suspicious because to everyone else, they're useless. We can only go by what he says he found out from them. Me, I don't deal with NPCs, they seem like a big distraction from the meat of the game. Whatever they've said to me is completely irrelevant to everything that's happened. It just seems like a wolfy distraction.

Teto being suspicious for the obvious Jaime the NPC/Jaime the player confusion. I can't make heads or tails of it because Jaime the NPC tells me nonsense but Jaime should seem like a player character. It's all very weird.

As someone pointed out earlier, I can't prove that I'm independent. I've tried to stay out of the limelight to avoid being a wolf target or a townie suspect. I will say that Littlefinger, in the series, usually has motives that are separate from everyone else but has to mingle with everyone in order to get where he wants to be (this is a general thing). But anyway, I can redirect, and I recognize that Town has the power at the moment so townies, whatever you want from me during the night phase, I'll try my best to make it happen though it's not really much other than mingling.

Right, a vote. I've only been able to be confirmed to do anything via NPCs, but Teto's wrong that I'm aligned with Linox. I feel like it's just wolfy, as if he's trying to get me to side with him when he's the only person that can legitimize my receiving of the NPCs, but also suspecting me? I've been trying to sit neutral this whole time and I'm not gonna let that ruin my rep here. Does that even make sense? And the kill ability really doesn't sit right with me.

    So, Linox.

  8. So let me get this straight - he told you this information AFTER he was dead? That someone had insider info on him?

sorry but that's kind of breaching the honor code. dead players can't and don't talk to alive players.

If I'm wrong in assuming this, ignore me, but really that's not fair.

  9. No, I can't control NPCs. I have only had them when you sent them and they've only told me random information, all of which I've relayed to you guys. I keep saying "they" but it's just Jaime

  10. Cirt mentioned she can redirect, though I don't think she has said anything about what she's done each night so far.

Cirt, along with confirming the npc that visited you, could you give us a rundown of what you've done each night? Since this could be the last day I think now would be the best time.

If I remember correctly (my days aren't marked)

    night 1: nothing

Night 2: Redirected t1g into pheo, failed b/c t1g did nothing

Night 3: redirected teto into pheo, was successful

    Night 4: nothing

  11. Hi everyone. Sorry for the holdup, last week was very busy with school and I was out of town this weekend helping my boyfriend move apartments. Give me a second to catch up and I'll tell you what I can.

I saw an npc visit Cirt again. Not much else to report.

So Teto being able to guard people has been confirmed then?

This is true. Linox, as I'm sure you know, Jaime Lannister (who is apparently Teto?) visited me again last night. Jaime is wanting to know who killed Cersei, I guess. That's all I got, I don't know what happened to me.

My role is Petyr Baelish, also known as Littlefinger. I am independent and I win on my own terms - basically by surviving through the whole thing by "winning" with whomever makes it to the end. LL was my rival, being Varys. We were linked to each other and we could unlock a secondary ability if we guessed who the other was. Unfortunately, by the time I had linked together that LL was hinting that he was Varys (by claiming that his role mentioned Varys, in which he was baiting me to come out so that he could unlock a second ability), he was dead.

I am able to redirect. This redirection takes priority (and it worked last time) but unfortunately it has a cooldown, in which I was not able to vote during the day. I asked last time if you'd like me to prove that I can redirect, which I will do tonight if I am not lynched today. I haven't been taking sides, which makes me look suspicious, yes. I'm just trying to stay alive here. Unfortunately my inactiveness is due to IRL circumstances and just trying to keep my head low here, altogether looking bad.

  12. Let me emphasize that if we aren't right today, then we get game overed (probably)

fingers crossed that there's only one wolf. I'm not sure what the standard is for a game of 9 players

  13. Unfortunately I can't make more sense of it than you. I was basically quoting it word for word. And, being Littlefinger, I'm guessing I'm part of the council? I don't want to read into this if it doesn't mean anything, but what does the council have to do with anything right now?

  14. The problem is that he's the only one that can vouch for you. There's no third party here that we can really trust.

This is sketchy. I don't really buy the excuse that "you did nothing". There's 6 people left, how can you not do something?

  15. Let's go with this for now. Who do you find most suspicious? This questions for everyone, by the way.

Personally I'm thinking Chase or Cirt.

Chase because he targeted LL "for information" and he died. Which is convenient for a wolf.

Cirt since she claimed she was a redirecter that was blocked. That could easily be a cover up and redirection is a common ability.

Keep in mind I think these are both weak reasons for a lynch, but that's not the point here.

I'll support a no lynch day after we go over this and get no results.

I can prove that I am able to redirect tonight. Give me two people and I'll do it.

  16. Are there seriously D pads in her hair?

    From wiki

Each region is completely different from the others in appearance and atmosphere, with each representing a specific video game console. In the beginning of the story, the four goddesses are fighting each another for "shares" in a war known as the Console War.
